Horne has the versatility [four big league pitches] start and has done so his entire career.<BR/><BR/>On the flip side, should the Yanks not require another starter Horne has the stuff - power fastball & power curve - to contribute in the late innings.<BR/><BR/>With Cox, Melancon, Robertson and others already expected to handle some late inning duties there may not be enough room for Horne in that role.
