You Can't Make It Up

From the LoHud master himself, comes this hilarious Kei Igawa success story:

Kei Igawa threw a bullpen before the game and wanted somebody to stand at the plate and pose as a batter.

His interpreter, Yohei Fukuda, volunteered.

You can guess what happened. Yes, Igawa hit him with a pitch.

This event has inspired me to write a Haiku . . .
  • Great Kei Igawa,
  • Walks, homeruns and hit-by-pitch,
  • Money down the drain.
